Snakes And Ladders

Snakes and Ladders is an ancient Indian Board game It is played between two or more players on a game board having numbered, gridded squares from 1 to 100. Over the years there have been many variants to the game in the oldest version the game was called Moksh Patam where they emphasised on Karma and Mokhsa and the Indian gurus use to teach lessons of life through the board game. So the lesson was if you do good Karma ( Deeds) in life you will get Ladders and reach Moksha (the transcendent state attained as a result of being released from the cycle of rebirth) and if you do Bad Karma (Deeds) in life you will be dragged down in life like a snakes drags you down in the game. Jains have their own version of the game which was associated with Jain philosophy. It is also called Chutes and Ladders in Many parts of the world. In Hindi they call it Saap Seedi.

The Game play is simple where A number of "ladders" and "snakes" are pictured on the board, each connecting two specific squares grids on the board.The objective of the game is to navigate one's game piece, accordingto dice rolls, from the start square (1) to the finish square (100)you may be elevated by ladders or dragged by snakes in the process.The player reaching the last grid square (100) first is the winner. In Multiplayer the game continues till the time 3 out of 4 players finishthe last grid. The game also teaches you to focus on your goal ( in this case to reach grid 100) and be patient in the ups(ladders) and downs(snakes) in the path to achieve your goal.

Snakes and Ladders by Ekraft can be played in 2 modes

1) Single Player against Computer where you play against Ekraft

2) Multiplayer (2,3,4 Players) on the Same device where you can play against your friends and family

We have also added a bit of analysis to the game where you can count number of 6 you scored in the game , number of times you took a ladder , number of times snake bit you , also number of steps you took to complete the game and if you beat Ekraft you get featured in our leaderboard too!</br></br></br></br></br></br></br>
